Registration

Intramural registration typically opens in January for the spring season. Late fees may apply after deadlines.

Divisions & Age Guide

Ages are based on league age as of April 30. Players are placed to ensure safety and competitive balance.

Quickball (Ages 4 – 6)

Quickball is the fast-paced, active version of teeball designed to keep young players engaged by using coach pitching, shorter games, and continuous action. It replaces the batting tee with a coach pitching to the batter and emphasizes constant movement, skill stations, and fun over scores or standings.

A dynamic, positive introduction to baseball for children aged 4–6.

Feature Quickball Traditional Teeball
Hitting Coach pitches to the batter. Batter hits from a tee.
Player Activity Constant action, all players involved. Frequent idle time.
Pace Fast-paced — up to 50 balls/game. Slower — one ball in play.
Gameplay Skill stations + mini-games; no scores kept. Full innings with scores tracked.
Baserunning Progressive advancement — multiple bases. Limited to one base per hit.

Coach Pitch (6–8)

  • Coach-thrown pitches; outs are taught and tracked
  • 1 practice + 1–2 games per week
  • Progression of fielding positions & baserunning

Minors / Kid Pitch (8–10)

  • Player pitching introduced; innings & scores recorded
  • 2–3 activities/week (mix of practices and games)
  • Balanced teams through evaluations

Majors (10–12)

  • Full kid-pitch, regulation rules with safety mods
